hi there you dealership can do this for you for free if you just take it in - i did this and took them 5 minutes

diy is actually easy - you can use the suction device used to remove lightbulbs to remove them and insert knew ones - there is a thread on here about it

really?mine were as sweet as a nut - my rear one is from cks and the front one (as needed to curve) was off a recommendation on here from ebay - both you can see from my pics are great fits and look great including the logo - to be fair i didnt fit them i just drove past my dealership and they did it for free so cant comment on how easy it is - but i know a few have done it here easily themselves including kid dav

maybe you should take it down to to the dealer if its just the fitment probs but if you have a bad logo on yours id send back or bin as will just ruin a nice car

Cheers, mine look the same. They look good on, think ill give them a go... The spacing of the logo seemed to be a it dodgy but might just be me! I'll report back.

yeah hope works out - ive binned a few crap things before so no stranger to doing that but if same as i had mine were spot on hence kept them - you could have a bad batch though as ive experienced with bonnet badges and idrive covers and had to change as wont expect anything poor quality - hope works out

Look forward to seeing how they look on your white - the only one thing that's annoying me about my beautiful car is the ugly look of the 4 screws holding on the rear registration plate, particularly when you compare it to how smart the front looks.

Think I've talked myself into buying one, was yours from CKS yeah?

Also mate you didnt buy two REAR surrounds did you? as the cks rear one wont fit on the front as they as the mount is curved - i had to get the front ones from elsewhere - just a thought

I'm gonna have to check when I get home, didn't notice a curve in either! They were from the polish ebay dude that somebody posted about on here, it said a 'pair' hope it aint a pair of backs!

Do CKS do a front one yet? thinking of a back up plan...

Nope, I got them from the link on this thread for ebay - poland i think?! Not sure if i've ended up with 2 rear though, gonna have to check tonight and then order some more if necessary.

I dont have any screws showing mate, did your dealership fit those frames around the number plate? If not, you could always pick some up from the dealers, my local one charges £12 for a front and back pair with the backing mount.

hi mate cks only do a rear one at present -kid dav tried to see if the rear one would fit on the front and also a guy at cks and it was a no go! - i asked them to customise a front one for me but (due to the curve mount at front) and they were going to charge me £80+! so i said no - i was recommend the polish ones n ebay for the front aspect by a knowledgeable member on here and was advised they will bend and fit correctly and as you can see from my pictures they worked perfect.

so on the rear i have the REAR CKS SURROUND
and at the front i have the polish one

both fitted by the dealer

My Dealer didn't fit frames no, do they have a black border then and I take it the plates just clip in do they so no drilling or screws? is it something you'd be able to take a pic of please? Thanks for mentioning it as well - bit annoyed that my Dealer didn't offer that as I did mention it not looking very tidy at the back, but I'm sure I'll get it sorted soon

hi there no problem - i did come across ones like this but none with the amg logo unfortunately - the ones i currently have have been the best i have found

Hi there yes they were or they would have ended up in the bin like some other orders - but i accept that as all these are mass produced some will get a dodge one from the batch and i may have just been lucky but a few others had have the same combination i have and they work well of having a cks rear plate and the front plate off the ebay link - the cks rear one is much more rigid hence you cant put it on the front as will just achieve a poor fitment with the shape of the mount
