My2013 c coupe sports plus modifications

no prob mate

Cool, that's good enough for me, thanks! And last one, is the quality of the Polish eBay plates you received just as good as the rear one from CKS?

Thanks

I've took a close up of the polish ebay plates mate, I'll upload it tonight so you can see the quality for yourself, I was initially a bit dissapointed as the lettering was huge and logo looked a bit dodgy, but I'll see if I can fit them at the weekend and put a photo up of them fitted too. I think they will be fine once on if dresho's are anything to go by..

Managed to get them on tonight, took about 5mins per plate to do. Sorry for the naff photos but hopefully they give you an idea of what they look like on a white car for now!

Dresho- the front one curved nicely to fit as you suggested.

Cheers.

They look sweet!! You pleased with them?

Thanks for posting the photos - appreciate it!

nice one mate glad you got sorted

Yeh, happy with them now they're on! Next is the CKS grille I think!!

literally was gona say now get a black grill on that car!

Was hoping to get one of the black framed c63 style grills but the fitment issues have put me off it, so th one from CKS will do me. Thinking of vinyl wrapping the centre section of the front valance too as per the photos a couple of posts back, don't really want to paint it... Do you know anywhere in the north east with a good rep for vinyl wrapping dresho?

Painting it isn't a problem either - simple and I havnt had any probs. You won't want to change back, so no need for vinyl IMO. :thumb:

How much would it cost to paint do you think? I'm just a little unsure... I'm thinking if I get it wrapped and I like the looking can get it painted when the vinyls looking worn.

There were a few things done: front lip, mirrors & grill in black for £300 + vat. Beats paying for vinyl, then paying again for paint?

magoo has a point there - and his finish does look pretty sweet! if your 10% you want it then paint like magoo - but if you are 50/50 then get the wrap but at additional cost getting it re wrapped in future or painted

Yeh he does, I'm not 100% though so I'll get some quotes and take it from there I think... Cheers

As posted in the sports plus thread, picked up a 350 Estate Monday.

Added spec was pan roof, harmon kardon & ipod media. Had badges deleted and changed belts to black.

Modifications since were to finish the roof off black to match the glass pan roof, carbon the rear spoiler and front skirt, and have the windows tinted privately (much cheaper!)

New grill got delivered today from good old USofA via ebay, took about 25 mins of dilly dallying about to fit, which as mentioned by others is easy when you know what to pull

hi there thanks for posting as requested - great new car!- can you get a close up of the fit of the after market c63 lookalike grill as there seems to be a large gap at the top aspect??

this was one of the fitment issues highlighted with that particular grill - it may just be the picture - could you give some more views close up and side on

with the true c63 grill there is complete seal with the grill and the bonnet and no gaps between the borders giving a neat finish

cheers!

tried to enlarge the pic to see the gap between the superior aspect of the border of the grill and the bonnet - rest of the edges look ok - is this just due to the pic view??

there is an evident gap and its been said before as well in many posts about this gap with the c63 grill... though would wait for a confirmation too.

this is the seal on the border of the real c63
