there is an evident gap and its been said before as well in many posts about this gap with the c63 grill... though would wait for a confirmation too.

Theres a definate gap as you will see, bit its the same all the way round, not just where the bonnet lid fits. Its perfectly fine in my opinion (I would say that ofcourse).

The main thing to me is that they look much better than the standard grill.

(Its not a "gap" theres another piece of black which is set back)

cheers matey - i here what you say its always the end point - what your happy with - for me i did like the grill but only with the fitment being right/perfect as with every mod ive added - you could see with me and the rest of guys who started this read ending up doing some random things to get the perfect fitment on our lil mods! medal goes to kid dav for his bonnet badge adjustment to get the perfect fitment

Did anyone order the idrive/command cover from the aliexpress site that was posted up on here (somewhere between page 10-15 i think!) there were 6 designs available - some better than others.

Thinking of ordering one but wanted to see if anyone knew what the quality was like first.

hi there yes this was me who posted this while starting this thread - i have the black amg i drive cover - you can see this on prior post or can be seen more easily if you go into my album in my profile.

i ordered two - the one i kept - and also the grey white and black affalterbach one - when they both arrived they were from the same seller but the affalterbach was much poor quality while the amg one was good - been OCD about the finish i kept only the black amg one as the other was not up to standard (for me anyway)

I've just received the black Affalterbach badges to replace the standard ones front and back. Has anyone put these on yet - got any pics?

The rear one is a lot smaller than the existing Merc badge - any thoughts on this from those who've seen them on in the flesh?

Yes put mine on ages ago but I have been too busy to take the pics and get them up. Planning to do it on Sunday hopefully. The front one may need a bit of sanding down to get it really flush. See kid dave's posts on how to do it a fair few pages back. It is easy and is worth doing.. As for the back one, I am unsure on weather to put it on so its still in the packet so I can't be of any help. I don't think the doc fitted his rear badge either...

Don't know if it would 'add' anything to the look of your black-on-black car anyway; it might get a bit lost - so I understand that. I think it could look good on the rear of the white cars tho, so will consider further! If I decide to take the plunge, I'll upload the results and you can give me your opinions on the success or failure!

To those with the CKS grill fitted, Did it come supplied with the new bracket to secure the top of the grill centrally to the cross member? the back of the grills is different so the original bracket doesn't fit.. I wondering if its not been supplied with the kit, or nobody has it fitted?

here guys as you know matty and i current have the hard richbrook holders that look nice on the inside window but looking on the front just look like a circle with bolts in - ok but not made the doc happy so today another arrived - the first pic is the front(the bit you can see through the window) and the second pic is the back - £3 and the quality and finish is very good - adheres direct to the window - will fit and post pics later tomorrow as of out if interested will pm the link for those wanting - cheap and cheerful

Hows this looking? Has it began to sag yet as the original one does? Would you still recommend this over the richbrook holder and if so, could you PM the details of where to buy?

hi there no they have remained in great condition - the richbrook one is a total different style and much more robust - it just depends what look you prefer - i still have my richbrook one so in future could change back but i prefer the current one i have

As posted in the sports plus thread, picked up a 350 Estate Monday.

Added spec was pan roof, harmon kardon & ipod media. Had badges deleted and changed belts to black.

Modifications since were to finish the roof off black to match the glass pan roof, carbon the rear spoiler and front skirt, and have the windows tinted privately (much cheaper!)

New grill got delivered today from good old USofA via ebay, took about 25 mins of dilly dallying about to fit, which as mentioned by others is easy when you know what to pull
