OM642 PCV Upgrade

I know I'm not there yet.....but if its not the pipes in the engine bay....anything else to look at.
Going to check actual fuel pressures on my IcarSoft MBII but at moment I can't even put the ignition os and some pipes still off and new ones not arrived....
So frustrating.....I got so far and then this........

Look on ebay. Mine was 60 odd quid from German supplier with best offer. I offered £55 and got it.

So air leaks cured....but was still iffy on cold start so took out the brand new Bosch glowplugs and put the Beru ones I took out back in...still not perfect but much better.
Is there a way with my iCarSoft to force an injector relearn>? Say if I change one charector on the IMA save....then put back would that do it?

What about the glow plug relay buddy , for the slow start ?

Has a brand new LATEST Beru GP Module.......left that in.....but as say...put the old Beru glowplugs back as told Bosch not that good.......she does start much better.....but now I'm thinking its because they are the Original Injectors that have been rebuilt and was told as originals the codes are the same...but not needed anyway. "Put 1000 miles on it if it will be fine, we get this all the time"....but with covid its not getting used very much and to be fare I do not do a lot of miles anyway. So just want to try and speed things up if possible....I know when it went into the Indy for Oil Cool/Swirl job etc...they told me (using start I assume, being an Indy) that they set the injectors to relearn....to assist in a smoking issue after long idle. The recon of the injectors (all 6) has cured this....but its starts after a while....runs at tickover fine one running and then drives ok.....but at very low revs does what I beieve is injector nailing. But put foot down and sounds and pulls normal.....its defo in my oppinion the injectors need to be learned as its still fueling like its got them in before they were referbished......make sence?
Yes I know if I had got new codes I could have coded them.....but it is what it is.....garage insist the codes are only for fine tune...emmitions control etc etc....and the ECU will sort itself out eventually.
Just looking if there is a way to speed it up.....as all the codes and the injectors are all in their original places....could I just change say 1 charector of the code...save it...then without starting the engine put it back and save it.....thus forces the ecu to start a fresh?
There is no option on IcarSoft for relearn....but I can changed the codes....
What does or is done in STAR to force this relearn??

Is there anything else I can look at for slow start?
Glowplug light behaves as you would expect....but very lumpy start but when it does its then smooth....its like the glowplugs arn't working.....once run it starts better....
All new Beru Glowplugs and brand new Glowplug Module...
Part Number of the one I took off:- A 642 900 58 01
This is the one I bought off Amazon

Or do we think its still the uncoded injectors and I have to wait until the ECU learns them??

Getting very very mixed answers....Garaged that refirbished the injectors says codes not needed as injectors fully tested after refirb and fall within perameters, ECU will learn over time......the codes are a fine tune for immediate calibration. I have read other posts were people have changed injectors, not coded.....they say it run a little rough for a bit and sounded differant...but after a few mounths (but unknown miles in that that time) was fine. But not found ANYONE that has changed/replaced or had all 6 refirbished like me.
Its the same as fitting 6 new ones and not coding I guess! The only differance with mine is the actual codes still match because I had my original 6 refirbished and put them back in the same place.
I have an ICARSOFT MBII which supports injector coding.....it shows the codes and they do match the injectors, so I tried to change one (change a F to a G for e.g.) with a plan to save it...then change it back in a hope it would force the re learning but I get the message (not supported on this vehicle) Grr

I know when the ML went in for the oil cooler and seals and the swirl fix/mod etc they did say they told the ECU to relearn injector values??? As they are a Indi Merc garage I assume this was on Xentry/Star Diag.

I could carry on using as is.....its just that 1st overnight start thats lumpy and white smokey.....once running tickover is smooth.....I do have the (nailing noise) at low revs too (again garage say this will just dissapear one day).....but been on the Motorway too and drives and pulls fine....

The garage that did the Injectors arn't some back street garage and have a very good reputation......they basically say they are a diesel specialests and get this all the time.....then the customers ring back after to appologise sayings its sorted itself out.

I guess I just want to know its not doing any damage and it will sort itself out in time......

I've spent a small fortune now on this car as I love how it drives it so much......but I'm at least 2k over its worth now......

If you rate the garage as experts them I would listen to what they have to say and get some miles on the car because as you say it runs fine once warm. The quicker you do that the quicker you will know if the garage was right. I cannot see how that would do any damage unless it was massively over-fuelling and you would know if it was.

Off to indy again for fuel value checks and "re-adaptation" if that fails, injectors back out for test and new codes...

Done 300+ still same......unless someone in Bolton, Manchester with a Home Xentry/Star that can do the re adaptation forra pint.......my Icarsoft that supoz to do codes does not.....so my choices are:-

Option 1 Just remove the injectors and get them tested for new codes......then take car to indy to have new code put in and re adaptation and should be right...
Or option 2 goto indy get them to see if the fueling/trim is acceptable for a readaptation and see....then if not ref to option 1 :)

Should get injector back today with new codes.....my iCarSoft should be able to code its the V2 MB but when I tested I got the message "Vehicle not supported"

iCarSoft not the fastest on support, logged the issue on 24th July, got this yesterday:-
Hello David,
Nice day.
Sorry to keep you waiting.
We are still working on it.
I will get back to you soon.

I'm going to ask if the garage owner, who I only just found out must live local to me can call with his scanner and code them up once they are back in....fingers x'd!

I've attached a video link and photos, also might be on early stages of an injector leak? D:
