hi

i plan to put my R107 on axle stands for the restoration that is beginning next week.

Can anyone confirm the best place to rest the car on the axle stands, both front and rear please? car will be on them for about 1 week before the wheels are put back on.

also, where is the best place to jack the car up using a trolley jack instead of the jack holes with the original MB jack.

thanks in advance!

derek

At the front on the "chassis leg" box section that forms part of the underbody frame behind the engine mounts but before the gearbox crossmember. And at the rear beside the rear subframe front mounting
