Any tunnels for the, er, noisier ones amongst us?

Loads of tunnels LINKY but unfortunately you can only do them by cycle or on foot.

No others on route I'm afraid

I went over to see Ringway the other week just after having my new exhaust fitted and came back through Manchester airport tunnel it sounded that good I had to turn round and do it twice again

Update.

OK been thinking about this and now I have had chance to drive the route, it dawned on me that some people have asked for hotel recommendations and we have some people coming over from the West.

The first part of the route Tibshelf to the entry to the Peak District National Park is 10 miles of motorway and winding through Chesterfield town centre so not very interesting. So if anyone wanted a second pick up point we could use this.Which is 10 miles into the route from Tibshelf.

The Highwayman Pub and Premier Inn

LINKY

Food is good and Premier Inn can be booked at a reasonable rate 10 miles from our start point and right next to this.

Surely we can get a few more cars this is a great run through stunning Derbyshire scenery with a full hearty breakfast midway. Come and join fellow MB club members for a very pleasant Sunday morning

A word of caution - don't arrive too early at Tibshelf services. IIRC they have one of those pay-and-display-if-you-stay-longer-than-about-20-minutes systems for parking.

I think Tibshelf services is a 2 hour stay time, but I'll double check all the arrangements about a week before and post up any restrictions or recommendations.

Any more for any more but 12 is a nice healthy number lets hope we get good weather

I think My Wife, Son & I will probably go up on the Saturday afternoon and stay the night ( if rooms are available) so a meal and an sneeky peek at some cars the night before would be great!!
