I called in @ Tibshelf on my way past yesterday.

It is indeed a 2hr limit for free parking, so we should be fine with that.

Thanks Keith I'm going to double check the route in the week and call the cafe again just to make sure they know we coming. Lets hope the weather is like this weekend still 24 degrees here now.

For those staying Saturday please let me know where and any cuisine to avoid and I'll sort something for dinner

I've now found out I've got a Christening to attend on Sunday, but as long as I'm not too late back I'll be there!! As long as I've got the motor back from Merc where they're having to re code everything back in!!!

Meet: Roadchef Tibshelf Services M1 Northbound 08:30 for coffee.
Leave: Tibshelf 08:45 for Hassop Station Cafe LINKY
Arrive: 09:30 Hassop Station Cafe
Depart: 11:00 (or whenever you want)
Arrive: Roadchef Tibshelf Services M1 Northbound 11:45 for final coffee (for those that want)

THE ROUTE

OK the following pics shows the entrance to the car park Pic 1.at Tibshelf go right to the back and park in the front row of the middle island Pic 2 (My CLK should be there)

When we reach the cafe you need to par beyond the wooden posts as this is free, however it was full this morning with people who had left there car there and gone out walking if this is the case tomorrow there is a big pay and display so we'll find 15 spots in that and it will cost £1.70

Pic 1 is the free parking pic 2 the pay and display the far side of the wooden posts immediately as you enter (Photo is looking back at entrance)

This is a nice Sunday morning outing through the lovely picturesque Derbyshire countryside, after the breakfast stop you will see plenty of things of interest, villages, retail parks, shopping, stately homes, wildlife viewing. If anyone wants to stop and break away from the group to do your own thing, that's fine this outing is about what you want to do if we start off together and breakfast together and get some good photos for the forum that will be great. For those of you sticking with the route we will finish at Tibshelf services again for coffee.

Attached is a route guide with landmarks to help you find your way if you get separated. The breakfast stop postcode is in the link above also. I will also PM you my mobile number.
