Philips X-treme Power Headlamp - 80% more light

I am getting very confused (thats not unusual)

I think I am going for the Philips 80% Brighter H7s via ebay

The side lights are H 6W

I want the white look for the side lights what bulb should I go for ?

.

As I am not to bothered about extra light but I do like the newer xexeon (bad spelling) look

What H7 bulb would I need for that ?

I purchased the Phillips bulbs.

Sucked in again

Removed them and fitted 4300 HID and ballasts.

Has anyone tried these new 80%+ xenon filament bulbs by Philips, they are street legal. I like a lot of light and these seem quite good. A little expensive at £33 Per pair however.

How good is the standard halogen system on the R171? Are they worth replacing?

I have the Philips XREME WHITE 80%+ on my main beam(EXCELLENT) and am just about to replace the dipped beam which has Osram cool blue, with PIAA XTREME WHITE PLUS H7 55W which boast the equivalent light output of a 110W bulb (£46 per pair)
If there is any significant difference I will post pics

:)

I did the same upgrade on my vehicle. I think I had to remove the photos of the upgrade due to lack of space in my photo bit but this gives details of all the bulbs used for side lights etc
