I did it on mine - can't say I noticed anything - but it is already remapped and I only went to the corner shop afterwards

Tankie said:Mark.t asked if it worked on his E 300 Td & did not seem to get an answer. I have a 92 300td & thought i would give it go anyway as I'm not even sure with my limited knowledge if this applies to my vehicle. Anyway i carried out the reset and due to the fact my 300 seemed to drive like an old donkey it now seems to have a little more get up & go. If the previous owner drove it carefully the reset may have worked for me. Could just be wishfull thinking! Tankie

230K said:Yes it worked on my 98 E300td and a friend and i did the reset on his wifes 46000mile ML270cdi and did not tell her what we had done and she foned her husband the next day to ask why her jeep was quicker than itr used to be!!!!
So this would confirm that it does make a diff.
