running costs of c63

Biggest cost by far is depreciation if you buy new, but if you lease it you effectively cap that and pay it as you go. My experience:

Yet to have a service, but:
Petrol 19.1 mpg
Insurance: £650
Oil: £50
Running Cost : 46ppm +/-

Add say £10k depreciation (I bought it 8 months old with 4k miles for £48k in Dec 12 from a main dealer, list was £72k!)
Cost inc my Depreciation: £2.30-2.40 (plus an annual service due in couple of months)

I think a figure of £2.50 per mile overall running costs probably isn't too far adrift for 10,000 miles per year, so add about 50ppm for about 5,000 miles per year.

<smug grin> ;) :D

Stay away is all I am going to say, I wont go into any stories I have been told.

you cant leave it as that ....... :dk: I need a reason even private message me

I was looking at the new shape models but I prefer the aggressive nature of the old ..... is there much difference. The cabins looks a lot cleaner in the new shape but to me the exterior is lacking the roar .....

I hate these kind of threads. Personally I haven't looked at the total running costs.

But I get about 150miles to a tank, my rear tyres lasted 4300k miles before needing to be replaced. I got a puncture on a front tyre a week after replacing the rears so have had to replace both fronts as they were half warn and I didn't fancy driving around with one new and one old front tyre. But its worth every penny. If I ever feel like scaring myself I will maybe wiork out the overall costs when I come to swap it.

But it is worth every penny, I love it, I look forward to driving it and it sounds amazing.

Worst yet. I drive three miles through town each way and average 13npg. Around 23 on the motorway at pace. I just ignore the cost. Rear tyres gone at 3400 mikes from new is a bit of a let down. I'm not a fan of the contisport 2's. Worn out on the inside tears and more than five mil on the outside. Mercedes Aberdeen say that's how the camber is set up. Not very happy with that answer but Aberdeen mercedes are appalling in all respects. They're the reason I never bought a merc until this year....as much as I wanted to.....and I went elsewhere.

Has anyone had any success with choosing a winter tyre option? This is where the big ticket running costs add up? I have 19" alloys and there are no winter tyres in the profile in the merc handbook? I found replica 18's but thy are a slightly different size to the OEM kit. I don't have the space to store a second set of wheels and of course I've been pestering Aberdeen merc for a quote for the past two weeks.
