I just have to get one of those SL Pagodas.

I've decided my next car will be a 1970 280SL in Jasper blue with a CL65 engine!

I have had a quick look through the members gallery to see if there are any more pictures of this very nice car

Unfortunately I failed miserably. What a very nice car that is clearly very well looked after. Top marks.

Well just arrived home. Not well, stayed the night at my brothers and had a very large sampling session Roads very wet and a trip up the M5 and M6 at 65mph Yes thats right, me under the speed limit. Having seen all the pics posted I feel guilty for not taking my camers. I really enjoyed myself. Someone said this forum is like a large family. ABSOLUTLEY!! Roll on the next GTG.

Slight problem, the left hand side turbo is playing up on my car, going in on Monday to be sorted (hopefuly), but ill limp it to the GTG anyhow.

If I take anyone out for a ride it wont be quite as 'powerful' as normal

Er there wasnt much wrong performance wise yesterday! I think it uses a bit too much oil though. Maff can obviously add more.

Yeah, I noticed that the BMW 'defectors' were lightly represented (Yeah, that includes you, Scott, hiding behind the hedge there !!!) I may not have it for much longer anyway - not that there's been anything wrong with it at all, to be honest, (apart from being a BMW, and silver, of course!) but have some possible other plans

Looks like a good time was had by all - hope to make the next one.
