Given that many of the people attending are new to GTGs, what do people think to having a piece of paper on the dash with the owners club name on. That way people will know who and what cars they are looking at. Just a thought...flame away

Slight problem, the left hand side turbo is playing up on my car, going in on Monday to be sorted (hopefuly), but ill limp it to the GTG anyhow.

If I take anyone out for a ride it wont be quite as 'powerful' as normal

what you need is a normally aspriated V8. and a smaller car for just you and one other....less to go wrong without things like turbos and superchargers and 12cylinders you see. (Mind you, I am impressed as I think I almost stumbled on that diagnosis for your car when i got a go in it! which is not bad for someone who has no idea about these things)

and its done at least 600miles since the last glitch.

but if the weather is up for a bit of open topless action, i may end up not selling it anyway. the problem with selling the SLK is i cannot find a replacment!
