EDIT....according to those listing the red ones been on AT for sale since October........but the blue one will have its first birthday on there in about 2 weeks!!!......I think that pretty much proves that they are too expensive.....or not as nice as the pictures portray them.......
Could well be right on both counts, but as marque enthusiasts we tend to forget how very tiny the market is for these cars once they’re more than a few years old.
Thanks - I think I've seen every E63 for sale in the UK now in that price bracket. It's probably between the pre facelift posted and the silver facelift 2015 plate, although i'm not keen on black interior it does look nice (aside from the black grille) The seller bought this from a MB dealer. I have seen all the paperwork for this too and the HPI check is clean, the first owner had it for 2 years, 2nd for nearly 7 years and third for 6mths up to Oct 2024.
The prefacelifts do have adaptive headlights which are very good even though not LED.
I suggest the main consideration if you're going for a 5.5 it is to get one with the updated timing chain design.
Personally I'd suggest the 6.2l of the prefacelifts. It's just fabulous (ofcourse i only have the facelift S version which might not be as good as the non S). There's a 6.2l with 40k miles

This one has been for sale from the same seller on and off since July 2021. Due to low mileage the asking price has been high. 10-14k seems to be the selling price range for W212 6.2. Cars above this range seem to sit for long. Interest for this model is very little even low mileage ones do not sell.

The market has dipped a lot. One year ago I would say it was a good deal. it has the driver assistance package too and from what I can tell, dynamic seats but not sure if it has pp and LSD though

I’d far prefer a factory original car than one that’s had to have major surgery at relatively premature mileage.
The MOT history and those ditchfinder tyres don’t have the hallmarks of a well cared for example either - IMHO for a PF saloon it’s £10k overpriced in that condition with that mileage.
I agree with you. I think this car shows how small the buyer pool for this model is. Nobody pulled the trigger on it in the last 4 years. Maybe if it had been around 17-18k somebody would have bought it already
I saw that yesterday before it was listed on ebay, as much as I would love it I just don't want to spend that much as I know I'll end up losing loads in depreciation.. unless the seller comes down to 17-18k
I have seen a few W213'2 E43's cropping up now - are these a good buy compared to the W212 facelifted versions - any major issues?
For example - Mission Prestige,
