trouble removing rear brake disc ('99 C230K)

I used the same method to remove my discs today.
I had tried the big hammer approach but they wouldn't budge.
I found that the car didn't like it though ESP flashing like a disco and the gearbox crunched a little getting back into P.
I had to do the same as the OP & put the bolts back in for the passenger side.
It didn't completely free the disc but it didn't take too much persuasion to get it off.
Did a propper job and cleaned & greased the hub so if they have to come of again it will be "simples"
I did find I have a weeping joint where the pipe meets the hose.
Not sure how it goes together to rectify?
I have tightened it up a little and will get my garage to check when they do the MOT.
They did replace the pipes after all.

I had thought to use bolts through the calliper bolt holes to force the disc off but this couldn't be done as the shield around the disc makes the hole blind.
