I'm trying to get a decent iPhone solution for music in my w221, there's no jack in positions or streamed audio, just the av in the glovebox.
I've tried a Belkin iPod AV connector (9 quid) with 'command' in video and music aux mode. The sound is great, I couldn't get the iPod video to work, needed to do music changes via the iPod screen.
Also tried a JUSTOP Bluetooth thing (again about a tenner). Sat in glovebox and accepted streamed music from iPod, great sound but it used the Bluetooth up....so no telephone (without hassle). Also needs to be kept charged and switched on.
Also tried a bit data cd full of mp3s...worked really well but didn't really fit in with modern music..spotify etc..
I hate wires poking out of the glovebox, the spring loaded 12v cover being up etc...but I don't want to spend too much.
I had a rummage on search, are there any other good solutions out there?
