W124 Fuel pipe to Fuel Filter

Hi All,

Can someone advise the part number for the fuel pipe that connects from the fuel filter to the rear of the car? The current one seems to have perished - it leaks when its jubilee clips are tightened too much.

If not, what fuel pipe can be used instead, and where would it be best to source it?

The current pipe has a cloth sheath wrapped around it - would it cause any issues to use a standard unsheathed fuel pipe instead?

Your advice would be much appreciated.

Hi Adil.

It would help to know which engine you have as they may well be different depending on engine size.

any decent motor factor will be able to supply suitable fuel pipe. Any pipe will do but the wrapped stuff is better. Make sure the fuel pipe is suitable for petrol when you buy it. also renew the jubliee clips

Its a 1996 E220 if that helps?

Went to a part factor who only stocked pipe that was not sheathed - they do not have sheathed piping.

Does anyone know where I can source some from in the South London, Croydon area?
