What’s your choice of car polish?

The Autoglym Clay-Bar kit did an incredible job for me, and isn't too expensive.

If you want price comparison other than google, Google Product Search (Google Shopping) is your friend!

Have a look in Halfrauds if you just want to go in and pick some up, but they all come as a kit with quick detailer, and are around £25.

You won't need any quick detailer for the one I've posted above, just keep the car wet and pass over with the clay to remove contaminants from your paint.

It's true, Autoglym's does need the Quick-Detailer (which is included, though) which can run out quite quickly. Having used a lot to claybar the rustbucket C124, when I went on to claybar my LWB W140 I had nowhere near enough and had to dilute what was left with water to fill the bottle again.

I've become a huge fan of B-H products (the Cleanser-Polish was absolutely incredible and made such a difference), I'm only plugging AutoGlym's one because I've used it and have seen on my own car how good it is.

The Bilt Hamber clay is quite highly regarded.

I would use Bilt Hamber cleaner/fine clay followed by Autobrite Extreme glaze - it uses fillers to get to a lovely, glossy apparently corrected finish (albeit it's filled and you can use it by hand) and then top off with a nice wax - I use Blackfire Midnight Sun wax quite a lot but something like Collinite 476 is very good and very durable.

I personally favour a good detail (using a rotary) once every 6 months or so using Menzerna polishes and Dodo juice supernatural wax.

I used Poorboys for a while but I think Autoglym is hard to bet!

I use either Collinite 476s or Finish Kare 1000p - both extremely durable and highly rated products.
Dod Juice Lime Prime as a Polish
AG Extra Gloss Protection as a sealant
Clearkote Red Moose Glaze as a glaze - perfect for red or dark colours (use the vanilla mouse for light or silver cars)
