Hand washed my car, towel dried it and and finished it off with spray detailer. Then washed and towel dried the wife's car.

Had sat nav updated to new maps plus engine ecu update at Mercedes Leicester.

Bought steel brake lines and subframe bushes, booked a service and comand update.
Now off to wash it.

Washed, clayed, bit of paint correction and wax.

Got to do the S213 next, but rain stopped play for today.

Washed both in the pouring rain. No water marks normally thanks to Thames Water.

New control arms, thrust arms tie rodsrand droplinks. Ordered tyres and basic alignment after installing adjusting bolts. Awaiting new engine mountings then just the wheels to refurb. Cleaned egr valve which wasn't dirty and reset the tps. Tomorrow sort out the loose indicator stalk.

Easy; open oil cap, tensioner shaft is right side of the gears (oil hole visible in this pic: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-.../hobggjNXlGE/w798-h449-no/20140726_201716.jpg)

S500:

• Boot lid alignment,
• Replaced vacuum line that had been nipped by boot lid
• Boot vacuum line pulley lubed up (wasn't retracting fully the braided trunking that wraps around the vacuum line and power cables),
• wheels off to clean which is when I realised 4 bolts weren't torqued up after garage fitted new tyres!!!
• Headlight side light bulb change. Can you believe you have to remove the entire headlight to change a £4 bulb!

C123:

• Wiper blades changed,
• Passenger exterior door handle removed, cleaned, lubed.
• Vacuum hose connectors in engine bay replaced,
• Oil change,
• Front right speaker grill replaced

Currently feeling pleased with one self so am having a beer and a takeaway!
