What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

Ordered some custom interior pieces from Brabus for a couple of cars, to freshen them up a little.

Covered some serious mileage viewing houses today, all country roads, all very wet, all very dirty. The amount of surface water was staggering, and on a handful of occasions I had to raise the air suspension to safely pass some flooded sections.

Even with full beam and driving lights on, once it was dark on a few occasions it was almost impossible to see where surface water deepened to be much more and really caught me out. Be careful and travel safely, it really is horrible out there tonight.

Hi , I feel the weather in Worcestershire today is by far the worse in recent days.

4 Starbucks visited.
3 cars driven.
2 MOTs passed.
1 early start.
0 energy left.

Also collected one which has been at the main dealer for 2 or maybe even 3 weeks now, glad to have it back.

Changed the spark plugs on the CLK to avoid painting the hall woodwork . Number 1 plug was very manky and hard to get out .
I think that water sometimes finds it’s way through the bonnet air vent across the engine cover and down into the spark plug well ?
A bit of release fluid for 10 minutes and I just pulled harder until it released .
New MB plugs fitted and we are back in the game for another 5 years (these were 5 years and 35k miles )

Missy2 had new wiper blades and a quick check over from my favourite indy @Jobsworth. When I got home I gave the roof the Renovo treatment and will Gummi pflege it tomorrow if its still dry.

Had a bit of a surprise on the way home when I had to take some paperwork to the dealers where I had part-exchanged Missy. The guy said "did you know it had been declared a Cat C write off in 2014?" "Er.........no!" I bought it in 2015 not aware it had been written off months before. He went on to say that if they'd known, they wouldn't have taken it. Someone obviously didn't do their checks correctly.

Had a trip to the dealer this morning to collect the clips I need to whip the sill covers off and replace the little rubber seals. Also grabbed a pair of boot lid springs and new style chrome star centre caps.
