What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

I finally took the bars & bike racks off the roof and had another go at hoovering out the French sand.

I'm driving out to Oxfordshire for lunch - want it decluttered.

Did a last minute drive to the coast, walk along the beach with the dog, coffee and sausage roll and a gentle drive back again. All in all, a nice way to spend the day.

Easy done. Lol

Ordered keyless start button for my glc. Can’t understand why last owner when bought new it has keyless entry , swipe foot too open boot , memory seats , easy entry etc etc but still used key to start it.

Ordered a swirl pot resistor plug on the advice of this forums members so thanks again for your support W1ghty. Worst case, I know what my problem isn't for a mere £12. That's why sites like this are invaluable to new and less experienced owners. Now off to order 4 wheel studs as I get easily confused with anything slightly out of the norm and adopt an over enthusiastic, mechanically unsympathetic, ape like approach rather than engaging brain and logic!

Changed the engine oil and oil filter in the W203 C200 Kompressor ... M271 engine.
Checked the ATF level.
Also the coolant level.
Everything looking good ..... No nasty surprises.
The car's running well.

Another day, another trip to the main dealer. This time to collect one after having a new Active Curve Assist pump fitted.

Today - Changed the power steering fluid in the C200 Kompressor.
This car was not well-maintained when I bought it - So I guess it will never have been done.
Just preventative ... A simple job.

On the negative side - Once again I found a tyre losing pressure.
Once again, there was a large roofing nail from the local development site down the road.
This was a newish tyre with no more than 2000 miles on it.
Fortunately the nail was in the centre of the tread and it was easily repairable by my friends at Rodley Motors.
This is the 4th such event in 12 months.
"Considerate Constructors" says the sign.
It's a joke !
