Looking at the glovebox trim, I'm thinking of removing this as I don't want to risk cutting the surround when trimming the vinyl. I know this is removable with trim tools but don't know where to start lifting it. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Had all 4 wheels stripped, dipped and powder coated in silver
Been promising myself I'd do this since I got the car 2 years ago as the insides were not great
Brand new now

I also shopped around but my wing mirror glass is seemingly made of Unobtainaium and is £350 odd (yup ) if I want all the features I have of the 'mirror package'

MBS will fit it when it's in for front discs and pads next Friday.

An expensive week, but in two years I've only had to put tyres on it (partially by choice) spark plugs, along with MOT and services of course, so overall......

E class passed its MOT , 4x brake pipe advisories despite cleaning the grease off them 2 weeks ago .

Put summer wheels and tyres on( buying a set of wheels with winter tyres was one of the best moves I have made since purchasing the car.)

I’ve had the detailer here every day for a week freshening the cars up for Spring, and today was the turn of the car I’ll be taking to BOTG. It just needs to have the plastics treated and then it’s good to go. Let’s home the weather holds.

Got a red warning for low brake fluid and sure enough, it was very low. Topped up to the correct level and had a look for any obvious signs of a leak but no joy. I had 5 lines replaced last year, so I'm hoping its not another one leaking.
Wheels off tomorrow for a deep clean and a good look for any leaks.

No they are fine Tony. It was definitely low fluid to bring up the dash warning. The reservoir was almost empty
Topped up and the warning disappeared. But the fluid is going somewhere?
