What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

They look really good, much prefer the one's that stick on the outside like that. 😎🙂👍
Yes indeed, the in channel ones are more chew than they're worth tbh and noisy at Mach 2 . :)

I drove my SL for the second day running

Had it 20 years now and it's only covered 15k miles in that time (57k on the clock), so using it twice in two days is quite an achievement :D

Today was my first day off work in 2024 and it turned out to be a corker.

Up at 0500, worked until 1045 - albeit with a school run and hair cut in the middle - and then on the road at 1100 for a wonderful drive around the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales in glorious 25 degrees C blue skies and sunshine.

We had a lovely afternoon tea in Buxton, dinner near Matlock, and back home by 2200 this evening. With the rather beautiful Mrs D riding shotgun, we spent 6 hours driving 188 miles over the course of 11 hours.

Up at 355 for BOTG and another long day of driving. 👍🏻

Spotted some lively cars in Buxton.

Great views from Guildford too, the viewing conditions of the moon through my telescope were also superb. Bit of a crazy evening - watching the aurora we had a fox in the garden, 3 hedgehogs grunting about on the patio round our feet and quite a few cockchafers crashing around! Oh and a heron landed on our neighbours roof.

Not today, but over the course of the last week, all on the 2008, 136k ML 320. Oil and filter, fuel filter, air filters, pollen filters. 2 new front calipers, guide pins and cleaned the caliper carrier, brake fluid flush (but only the fronts) and changed 2 duff parking sensors so now have working Parktronic again!
