Why?.... and I'm pretty amazed that the front flexy hoses fitted on the back!!!!My Son took My car to work , changed all brake pipes front to rear and flexi`s , he has done an amazing job .
I assume it was a pre-2018 car. Great fun but not good for driving long distances or at high speed. Not mine....but last night was my mates sons prom and he had to work at the hospital....so I drove his son and girlfriend to the prom in his brothers real black Brabus G Wagon 800. It was as grim to drive as I expected noisy and hard riding....but stupid fast... which was fun for my passengers!.....and I only got asked for drugs twice....bonus!
The boy was in a smart suit and she looked great in her evening dress.....but most of the girls I saw there looked like they were heading to a hookers and whores convention. I'm no prude but im not sure what sort of parents would let their 16 year old daughters go out looking like a full on tart either wearing next to nothing or with dressed split to the waste or low cut enough to leave nothing to the imagination. Then put all the pics on FB (some professionally taken) for the pervs to letch at and tell the world "how proud" they are of her and how grown up she looks! Not nice at all. Glad I don't have a daughter.
Back in 2007 when I was living out in Bahrain, I drove a G that'd had an engine swap from an SLR 722. Probably the most terrifying driving experience of my life! It was hilarious in a straight line, but the body roll and handling through corners nearly caused my heart to exit through my sphincter . I understand the new generation ones are much better, but a driver's car it was definitely not!I assume it was a pre-2018 car. Great fun but not good for driving long distances or at high speed.
Yes the new generation car is a million times better, but I still think the GLE make a better car for long distance high speed driving. Less cred thoughBack in 2007 when I was living out in Bahrain, I drove a G that'd had an engine swap from an SLR 722. Probably the most terrifying driving experience of my life! Sounded amazing though, pure eargasm stuff!
Undoubtedly yeah!Yes the new generation car is a million times better, but I still think the GLE make a better car for long distance high speed driving. Less cred though
Private plate.... very dodgy spaced Brabbus plate....but I'm pretty sure it's a 2020.. not unlike driving a very powerful tractor.... and goes around corners like one. I'm thinking that at 800 horses it's probably the most powerful engine I've ever driven..... pity it was not in something less agricultural!I assume it was a pre-2018 car. Soak it in water then lay a few books or an alternative heavy object on top of it until it dries flatReattached the plastic that hides the sunroof screws etc at the front of the glass panel.
Tried to reattach the small bit of wood trim that has come off above the head light switch but the wood has warped somehow and it won't glue back on as it's curved. Not sure what to do about that at the moment...

Interesting. And that won't do it any damage?Soak it in water then lay a few books or an alternative heavy object on top of it until it dries flat
I’m looking at it on the basis that you can’t make it any worse. I’d use warm (not hot) water and let it dry thoroughly before removing the weights.Interesting. And that won't do it any damage?
Warm or cold water?
Thanks for the tip!

Cheers - I did a bit of reading as well on generic veneer shaping and 1-3 hours seems reasonable to get it properly soaked. Probably going to find 2 small bits of wood to put either side of it then clamp it in place and leave it for a few days then see how it looks...I’m looking at it on the basis that you can’t make it any worse.
