My wife has decided to redesign the front of our Mercedes clk 350 Sport today. She has hit the curb with the front spoiler ( Carbon Flash worth £800 ) and destroyed it . I have managed to remove it but need to take the wheel arch covers out to get the bolts out.

I knew I should have bought her a £50 banger.

Bad luck. Thank god my wife can`t drive as I love my CLK just the way it is. Good luck with your repair and get her a cheap motor or file for a devorce and meet someone who can`t drive, as sharing a motor as nice CLK will rarely work.

it is only a bit of material that could be replaced but I had warned her it was low.

it was not an original part so if anything it should not have been on there but I like it with it off and it is higher so poses less of a risk.

Just need to tidy up the holes ect after getting the bolts out.

it is not a case of it not being on but I would have liked to take it off and I am sure someone would have bought it .

What...??? LOL..

She's nudged over the kerb while parking the car, not had a major smash.

Time for more cotton wool me thinks. :wallbash:

Sometimes it's not all bad news, though.

Haha nice picture.

Lucky my wife has no need for a car so I only have myself to blame for accidents hehe.

Sister in law used to drive the family old, but serviceable Volvo V40. Went to her local shops, parked front over kerb. Got back, reversed and pulled the front bumper off. Unhappy hubby visits scrapper to replace

2 weeks later, visits local shops, parked front over kerb. You guessed it - reversed and pulled it off again. Unhappy hubby now very unhappy.
