Will my folding W202 mirrors fit a W210 E class?

Trying to work out a deal/ swap, but need to know if my current mirrors can go to the donor car ( a pre-facelift W210)

Hi Bobby,
W210 pre-facelift and W202 pre-face lift and facelift door mirrors are the same door mirror.
The W202 mirror has even got a 210 pt. no. as the links below show

If you pull the mirror casing off a 1993-1994 w202 you will find a 202 part number on it . Also I believe some w140 models shared these parts.

Thanks Shude - perhaps I should elaborate: My car (1999 C43) swapping mirrors with pre-facelift W210 BUT which has had W210 facelift mirrors fitted... still ok?

the mirrors will physically fit but obviously some wiring changes are needed if you are fitting mirrors with integrated indicators etc.

So if transplanting the blinking type, you could strip out the loom from a W140 or a pre-facelift W210 to convert the mirror to fit a W202?

"These" facelift w210 mirrors are direct fit as they have been already converted from facelift 210 connectors to pre-facelift 210/202 connectors. and will require no modification at all.
You will however have to run a blinker supply up from the cable trunk under the door sill from each side.

But I thought you had to change the plugs on yours to make them fit?

The mirrors that bobby could be getting are facelift 210, that already have had the correct connectors fitted for a pre-face lift w210 or w202, so they will plug straight into his car and everything will work apart from the blinker

if the 210 was a pre-facelift with facelift mirrors, you will need to mod the wiring depending on how the 210 mirrors were modded. if the plugs were changed on the mirror side, then only a few pins and additional wiring would be needed.

The mirrors were originally modded for a w202.
They will go straight on, but has been said, you will need to run a supply for the live of the flashers.
Do your w202 ones look the same as the pre facelift w210 ones?
