Your top three driving pet hates...

People shouting and pointing when your on the phone get on my nerves.

And they are right. There is no reason to talk when driving when there's text, email, Facebook etc. You really should move with tbe times.

In general, I am OK with inconsiderate drivers.

They see you, they know they are inconveniencing you, and they don't give a toss. But in their own twisted way 'they got you covered'.

It's those drivers who are totally oblivious to your presence in their close proximity, or to the mayhem they cause in their wake, that really scare me.

I wouldn't know. Too busy watching videos when I am on the move.

Ah Videos... yes I remember them.... but you really need to move on to YouTube.

Mine:

1. It's peeing down with rain, you are on the M4 road is very wet and plenty of spray. Idiot drivers that think it's a good idea to put their rear fog lights on. Aside from the very obvious glare problem, I am left with conundrum of "Are they braking? Or are they just idiots with their fog lights on in the rain?"

2. Driving down said motorway some guy in another car is tailgating you, so rather than get stressed, you pull in to let him past. Except he doesn't pass, he follows you, still tailgating. I'm honestly not that attractive, why do you want to be so close to me???

3. People that overtake you and pull in forcing you to either brake or take your foot off the accelerator pedal - these are the people that need "Objects in this mirror will be closer than they appear" imprinted on their frigging forehead. If I can see in MY mirrors that someone overtaking me is being tailgated I will take my foot off the accelerator (if safe to do so of course) and flash them in early. So many people doing this though aren't they are just believing their nearside wing mirror too much.

Falling asleep at the wheel....

1: Poor overtaking discipline - The common practice seems to be indicate, pull out, then check mirror. The amount of times ive been poodling along at 70mph on cruise and someone in the inside lane has come upto a lorry or something then just pulled out indicating then violently swerved back in as they have checked their mirror and gave me a verbal, like im the one who needs the lesson....

2: Fog lights - Why do people think its cool its a pain in the ****

3: Poor manners - You go out of your way to let someone through and they dont thank you, good manners cost nothing!!

My Argentinian mate has contributed his three driving pet hates. They are:

Clarkson, Hammond and May.

.

Just the usual: those who find 50mph on motorway in a straight line a challenge, lane hoggers, tailgaters, compulsive foglight users etc etc.

Today though reminded of another category: those whose useless driving and parking skills are mirrored by their use and random abandonment of trollies in supermarkets.

Came over the Dartford crossing (South bound) last night. From the crossing the M20 junction I was the only car using the completely empty inside lane. What I really noticed!! I was able to drive along at a steady 65 (cruise control) whilst people sat at 55 in the middle lane riding each others bumpers. Absolutely crazy. Not one car moved over into the left hand lane.
