I'm thinking 3rd, 30 to (err, something), with a stopwatch with a lap button on it where I can count off 10s increments. Not sure my GPS watch will keep up (though I'll wear that as well for curiosity). And have Dynolicious on ipod too... and I'll be on the phone and working the sat nav (j/k)

Nigel's just got back to me and I'm in :bannana: although when we spoke about numbers, he indicated that he currently has 22 down on his list
I have agreed to fit in with any available time slot, probably mid - late afternoon, so maybe I won't be getting to see some of you early-birds after all. Having said that, I'll endeavour to get Banbury by around midday.

This really needs to be ironed out. As it's not fair on those officially on the list.
If Nigel is reading this thread maybe he can compare his list to the one above. Though it would help if people included their names as well as their forum IDs.

I certainly wouldn't want to jeopardise anyone already confirmed (and paid), and as such, will be happy to drop out again if the numbers become a problem.
As you say, it's probably best that Nigel compares his list to the one above to establish exactly those who have confirmed with him, but not on here
). He didn't seem to raise any objections when I spoke to him and mentioned I was number 20 (and he said I wasn't!). He also said he would confirm by email (which as yet he hasn't - but it was only an hour ago I spoke to him).Let's wait to see what - if anything - he comes back with.

As in, your name is on the MBClub list, so you should have a place at least.It's not such a problem as long as Nigel and his guys can complete them all in 1 day. I guess we'll all have to be flixible with regards to times.

)Just as a matter of interest though, from the list of 20 above, the latest time indicated is 1.30pm
apart from Baldguy and me! And 13 of those are before midday Are these confirmed times (by Nigel) or preferred times?? If the latter, then methinks a few punters are going to have to hang on well into the afternoon for some of the later slots.
Sorry for poking my nose in, because it doesn't really affect me (well it might not go down too well with my missus if I get pushed back to 8.00pm

Nigel has indicated to me that these are purely advisory times, and it will probably be more of a queuing order rather than a specific time. I expect some slippage!
As an aside Alex, your car is noted as a 2006 E320CDI in your details, yet it is also an I6? I thought mine (at March 2005) was on of the last I6's! Just curious...

Thanks for raising the issue.
Just checked the Registration Document - my mistake
- car first registered 05/2005.Established that build date was 03/2005.
I've never picked that up since I changed the details from the old W203
.Anyway, yes it's definitely an in-line 6. I just checked again
.As a matter of interest, did they also carry out a facelift when they changed to the V6 Engine? I don't really keep up with model/spec change dates, etc

I think the facelift came in about a year after the V6 change. All 55- and some 06- plate V6s still look exactly the same as the I6s.

Right we are all set for tomorrow, all the times are logged with us as above (and not what we gave you as you seem to have your own schedule sorted lol)
There are the 20 from here plus one other MB owner who we collared when they came in for a service earlier this week when we didn't think we were going to hit the 20 people. No problem though, you guys are the priority.
There are two people who we do not have email details for so they haven’t received a detailed info email (Arkemelis and Alex Argent - guys if you want to email us on [email protected] we will send out the details). I thought we had them on file but we didn’t for some reason.
We will be there from 08:00, hopefully with bacon butties and copious coffee. With the 3 of us there and 1 back at the office helping out with some of the compilation (we also have some 15 other cars around the outlets tomorrow as well already booked in) we should hope to keep to the schedule as far as possible.

Fantastic to see you all today, i think it is safe to say we wore poor Nigel and Andy out!!!
With regards to the next tuning day, exclusively for the members of this forum, we are looking at Saturday 5th June.
This will be advertised properly, but feel free to add to the thread with your names.
We will go for the total of 20 again as we did today, but will probably juggle the timing round slightly, so if you dont fancy 'hanging out' with us for a few hours, then you can come and go within say 60-90 mins.
Anyway, check on here and our website blog for details along with piccies from todays activities!
