Anybody here have their AMG alloys / other make of alloy stolen?

Reason I ask, is that I am thinking about getting some AMG splir rims. As you will al know, they are hardly cheap and in some cases worth more than the car they go on

What I am wondering is whether anybody here has or knows a fellow MB owner who has had their alloys stolen adn the car left on bricks.

Does that happen any more?

Generally i think its just bad luck if your wheels get stolen, as long as you have a good set of MB locking nuts and a decent alarmyou should be ok... Yes it does still happen, mines always garaged, but i know people who have had whole sets of wheels, single wheels and whole interiors stripped out the cars outside their houses!
