Anyone seen any good number plates on cars lately?

2 JEN on a GL today

wish we had private regs in ireland,i think they are very interesting,so different to our system,

There must still be a fair few pre-1987 plates around - it's a shame it's not possible to transfer them between cars. I know that the owner of MIN 1 has tried to persuade them to change their minds a few times.

However, a few have somehow made their way into the GB system, including IJ 1, IT 1, NIK 1, PIS 1 and, of course, the specially-issued VIP 1.

Saw 325 JOE on a beautiful 2010 Ferrrari California 2 plus 2 in South Woodford today.

I have seen a few nice reg plates on my travels over the Christmas period.

A8 on a BMW X3 on the M20 in Kent.
SON7A on a Peugeot 206CC on the A406.
TEA5T on a Silver E320 CDi in Wanstead.

A 3, A 4, A 8 were all owned by Sandell Perkins Ltd (based in Maidstone), which merged with Travis & Arnold in 1988 to form Travis Perkins plc. Perhaps they are thinking of taking up an Audi franchise...

By the way, A 7 belongs to HMQ, as does MYT 1 (amongst several others). Who says the Germans don't have sense of humour...

GOI 11 on an M Class in CSG

What, where is CSG? Is it the initials of a major road in London, but can't think of any (I can remember TCR and GIR from my bike courier days, Tottenham Court Road, Grays Inn Road)?

Anyway CAP174L seen on a silver E-Class Coupe today on the M4.

This plate was owned until 1890 by the Native-American Chief Sitting Bull

Used to see A8 regularly some years ago, was on a Jag at the time. Used by a director of Travis Perkins.

2 BE on a. aston martin vanquish and NOT 2B on an S-class AMG...

They live near me! i think they are something to do with The National Theatre / The Old Vic as I have seen them parked there also! Funny, never pictured luvvies as being into mental motors! The owners have had a whole parade of exotica including Bentley's Astons etc.
