They live near me! i think they are something to do with The National Theatre / The Old Vic as I have seen them parked there also! Funny, never pictured luvvies as being into mental motors! The owners have had a whole parade of exotica including Bentley's Astons etc.

The owners are property developer Robert Bourne and his wife, Sally Greene, but they don't actually live where the cars are usually parked. They have been major sponsors of the arts for the past 25 years or so, and they own the Old Vic and a few other London theatres.

When I was at Manchester Uni I kept seeing a big Daimler with ONE1 on it.

One day while I was pulling the barrels off a Triumph Bonneville, behind our hall of residence, it pulled up and the owner got out, we had a chat about motorbikes. I asked about his reg, he said he'd paid nothing for it, a dealer had 'kept it for him' when he bought a new car.

Only later did I find out he was the Vice Chancellor of the University, aka the Duke of Devonshire! The then Duke is no longer with us, but the plate is registered on a Bentley Arnarge, according to Tescos, so probably still in the family.

On the way to Old Trafford last night I saw an Overfinch Range Rover Sport with number plates that read (to me anyway) ROONYS.. R80NYS - it had a white screw cap cover over the central part of the 8... tut tut!!

On the way to Old Trafford last night I saw an Overfinch Range Rover Sport with number plates that read (to me anyway) ROONYS.. R80NYS - it had a white screw cap cover over the central part of the 8... tut tut!!

Bet the cap comes off to reveal an 8 after Rooney sulks again & leaves old trafford
