Ready for autobahn.

Is there anybody out there?

Had my cavansite blue, premium plus saloon on 17 inch winter tyres for just over a month and driven just under 3000 miles. One long run to France from the UK. Brilliant car, great to drive, averaged about 43 mpg. Command on line really good, I have downloaded over 4000 iTunes tracks onto a usb stick that also shows all the album covers. Really enjoying the sound quality of Burmester system. Worth the wait!

like spa for the ladies ;-) this was outside the hotel.

Really? Now I wouldn't know about spas for the ladies......!

Colour? Could it be diamond white, like mine - to come? Looks really nice

AND

Soooo good to hear a positive report from Max hybrid after all the doom and gloom of the charging misfortunes.

Bit cheesy.... Got a 64gb usb stick in the shape of the mercedes key fob from eBay for £16.. Not that you see it under the arm rest!

ASnowman ... When you are out side of the wall and having the happiest day of your life, try not have have one of your turns ... Running like hell on the first day in those empty spaces may not be the best idea ... Try to run the engine in ... It's a cruel world!

That would be my car if it were diamond white without the privacy windows and if it had the sunroof and 18" wheels. Anyway, enjoy!

I does have 18 Winter and summer.

Skjermbilde 2016-02-02 kl. 00.57.37.jpgI know a lot of people tend to focus on the gas saving, but keep in mind you got a rocket, and you bought a rocket.
Been driving 9 hrs on the autobahn today, not thinking or even looking at usage.
You got a hell of a car guys!!!
Have had BMW for years, 5 series and 3 series.
The c350e in sport or sport+ is awesome.

It sticks to the road like glue.
Go to Germany for you vacation, and get a smile in your face that never goes away.

At this speed, solid to the road.

thats quite good going MPG wise for such high mileage, I'll be doing around a third of your mileage per month, and if i can get what your getting i'll be more than happy.

If you stick to motorway speed limits and charge daily you should see that mpg without too much of a problem, in my limited experience of just 250 miles. Am currently running at 56mpg in that time but ran on electric for local journeys over the whole weekend, which skews the total somewhat.

Problems charging.

Company had a Rolec socket fitted in the car park yesterday so I'm trying the charging using the mode 3 cable for the first time but having problems.

I've got the car hooked up using the mode 3 cable and the socket led goes solid blue, indicating it's ready to charge, the socket locks to the car, but I can't get the charging to start. It's not set for timed charging and previously using the mode 2 cable charging starts straight away.

The charge rate is set to maximum in the menu too, also it's not that.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong??

Try pushing the cable up.

I have been told that sometimes with the heavy cables it looks like they are plugged in, but they are not.

I had an issue at Ikea where I couldn't unplug the car because the cable was stuck. A friend of mine had a problem with the i3 where he plugged it in, but it wouldn't take the charge.

have a bit of a wiggle and see if that helps.

Thanks Mardeman, I'd read that before so gave it a try but no difference I'm afraid. I've wiggled both ends (it's an untethered 16A Rolec socket) but it doesn't want to play.

There are no controls other than the LED on the face of the socket and the RCD is switched on. I've tried plugging into the socket first then the vehicle and the other way round, but neither makes a difference.

The socket is clearly recognising a connection as the LED is turning solid blue, but the car is not activating the charging for some reason.

I'm confused! :dk:
