Anyone else get a range on on 15-16 Miles on a full charge?

I've got a 13A plug at home and leave it overnight. I think once I got 17.

I've been charging it everyday for 2 weeks now but still no rise.

Mine is "stuck" at 13 after a month. It really depends how and where you drive that influences the range. For a couple of days I didn't use the 2 miles of urban dual carriageway on my normal commute and the range went up to 15. If you could drive a journey without going anywhere near the end white segment on the power meter and scored 100% on the Eco meter I think you could push the range up.

I know that I can do my two regular commutes (office or station) with no ICE and I am happy with that.

After 1035 miles I am running at 10p per mile total fuel cost. £80 of petrol and £25 of electricity. That's the equivalent of an ICE car doing 47.5 mpg at current fuel prices. Not bad for mostly urban driving.

Ah so the range before setting off is planned on your normal driving style.

As I though it would be 19 before set off regardless.

I have a commute of 19 miles and usually achieve 15-17 miles of "engine off". I'm seeing about 75% of my overall driving as engine off but haven't done any long journeys yet.

This is a very worrying issue and not proactive of them! If like me you're someone who runs on electric for 75-80% of their commuting any replacement is going to cost a lot more in fuel!

What other c classes have they been giving you? Bluetec diesels I assume?

Is this ingress problem affecting both saloons and estates?

Any details on whether this is a problem for all or if estates or salloon are more prone to it?

That's pretty much the same as mine, 16 seems the max but you can quickly loose 2 miles of that once you've 'pushed the button'. As ryeltep says it is a condition based estimate. I reckon maybe if you drove around with no heating/ air con, stereo, wipers lights and lived nr the Norfolk Broads and got stuck behind a tractor doing 30 miles an hour everyday and the temperature was a constant 25 degrees C day and night it might just inch up to the magic number of 19! Oh yes and stop the mirrors folding!!

Can you post what screens you get OAT after the upgrade?

Well done! You beat me to it. I was coming back to say that there are eight screens in the "Trip" category of the MFD; the OAT is mentioned in only one for some bizarre reason. So I prepared these two piccies - Engine off and Engine on. I wanted to practise with Photoshop anyway so here they are even though the problem has gone away.

Had the update done on Monday and now have the OAT display as it is displayed on all new cars that are released with it. Happy at last!

If you are referring to the outside air temp update they picked the car up at 0830 and returned it with the update and washed around 1200, so not too bad after all.

I was hoping the update puts the OAT on all screens.
Mine is displayed as yours is (from new).
Why can they not replace the word trip on each screen?

I would be surprised if the local dealer (who is not the supplying dealer) will drive to me, collect the car and do this. But I will give it a try.

They were supposed to do the update when it was serviced but when I went to collect it they said there wasn't one. I had to ask Mercedes UK via Twitter to inform them about the update so I'm guessing they felt guilty that I knew more than them and needed to make up for that

I am just waiting for my car to be delivered. I just wish i could of got the night package.

But its already build and was irdered last june so it was not an option, plus its in a discontinued colour so there wont be many more built. Ordered june 6th 2015
