Enquired at Superchips/Bluefin and they weren't interested.

Very interested if you do find anyone in the uk though

Yes me too.

I've bought tuning boxes for the last two diesel vehicles I've had, (A4 and 5 series), but thinking it's not as easy with petrol.

Mind you, just had my first service at 15K miles and have been told that I need new rear tyres.

Thinking that a remap wouldn't improve this :)

But hey ho!

A remap will always improve tyre wear [emoji12]

Turbo Petrol vs Turbo Deisel ... I thought they'd be as easy as each other. Learnt something new today. Thanks

My car has been at the dealer since 7.30 yesterday.

They called me before to say the update they were doing will take 5 hours. Bloody hope I can see temperature after this!! (That wasn't why it went in)

The tuning boxes I fitted before worked in exactly the same way, just remove the engine cover and disconnect the plug from the common rail and plug in the tuning box, reattach the plug to the other side of the tuning box and bingo.

On both the A4 and 5 series extra power was noticeable but when I took it off for servicing, (company car), you could really tell the power was reduced.

On the C350e it would be interesting to see what the impact would be given the torque from the motor is such a big factor in performance.

Incidentally when I installed the tuning boxes both times I saw an increase in MPG as well.

With weather like it is here, I mean temperature so variable, I'm checking the temperature display very often.

Hated when it wasn't present.

Hopefully it will be sorted so you can see it!

How do I post photos

Dianne asks for more photos but as I'm a newbe, I have posted a thumbnail pic, but can anyone tell me in simple terms how to include proper sized photo in my message?
Also as we are C350e owners do we post under a specific banner or in general discussions?
Thanks for any replies.

Easiest I guess is to upload them to google docs or similar (drop box, Flickr, etc) and link to there?

First 500 miles...

Done 500 miles as of today.

Coming from a Octavia VRS Diesel, the mpg isn't great but everything else absolutely is.

Heard there has been a car transporter crash on the m3 and a badly spec'd C350e didn't fair well, sorry
Many thanks for the reply - look out when you reverse! Would you not benefit more than most from a 360 camera? I would swap but the dust magnet finish you have (and lack of clock) is poor at best. Happy driving. Sharmbo.

Looks really good jaid except for the TDI references everywhere on the site.

Difficult to imagine so much extra power so easily achieved,

Suppose with the 14 day return policy might be worth a punt.

I'm going email them now to inquire further.

Of course if fellow forum members wanted to send me a donation towards the unit then I wouldn't mind being the guinea pig :)

Actually also just seen this which includes the full hybrid drivetrain 4.9 secs 0-60!!!! Want one!!!!

My previous car was a 1.6 octy.
Economy doesn't compare, and sometimes even comfort, but I still prefer the merc.

That site in Netherlands looks good be good if a tuning company would give us a trial as I'm sure most people with c350e like speed

Had the following email response

Hi John,

Thanks for your email. The Mercedes C350e is a great vehicle to tune. The combination of the new 2.0 Petrol Turbo and Electric motor gives us excellent scope to significantly improve your performance.

Do you have a contact telephone number that we can contact you on to discuss further?

This from the technical director at TDI Tuning.

so I've ordered one for delivery on Saturday.

Will let you know how it goes.

Good man! I look forward to the report, I've been keeping an eye on these for some time and the guys in the Netherlands had been the only ones I could see some stats for until tdi tuning started doing it.

Those numbers certainly sound amazing!
