C63 Fold the rear seats down for auditory bliss

Fold the rear seats down, go and mash the accelerator (obviously while moving forwards).

I don't know about you guys, but my car is 99% a 2 seater (Me + other half)so I now tend to drive around with my rear seats folded down as the sound of the exhaust, I think, is greatly improved.

Try it, let me know your thoughts.

One of the advantages of an estate!

Surely the back seats folded down will make it faster too? I presume that Corsa thread made it on here too...

If so I recommend you put a chaise longue in the back so the hatch won't quite close and drive it over the Penines. I had NO IDEA how much noise my C43 exhaust made till I did that. And the C63 is several times more vocal......it would be epic.

I've been doing this for a while and it is much louder to the point you drive slower for fear of scaring pedestrians.

It is one of the disadvantages of cars with fixed rear seats, they are slower.

I often have the armrest folded down...i suspect that makes it a tad louder

Well, I've un-folded the bases of the rear seats (they swing forwards) and have given the hidden area a blooody good clean.

But I have not removed them, as shown above.
