Do these wheels/tyres fit?? Read this first! Offset/fitment answers within..

Thanks I had a look at this and can see that the offset of the alloys are ET52 and the c class 18's offset are ET44. Is there an option to add a spacer and if so any recommendations and has anyone done this before?

You could add a 10mm hubcentric spacer. E bay should have plenty for sale.

I doubt its been done yet on a W205 as they are so new, but other cars.yes.
Just make sure you buy hubcentric spacers and nothing else.

Will ET13 8.5J and 225 45 17 go on a W124 Estate ?

As above looking for a set of 17 's for my W124 estate seen some nice deep dish Monoblock style But with an ET 13 .The Max offset on the factory cars seems to be 28 with 17 X 235 , as 30 with 8.5J and 245 on alloywheelsdirect is on a wide arch model. But I have seen lots with real arch fillers.
Looks Like I can fit 225 's on an 8.5j although that is the "minimum " width
does this mean they are "stretched " or is it all within tolerance ?

2001 C320 wheels

Bit stuck here and need some advice on spacers and longer bolts.
Bought a set of 17"AMG IV Wheels but need to find out what spacers i need.Fronts are 7.5x17 47mm ET Rears are 8.5x17 58 mm ET.
Looked about for any info on the same wheels on a similar car but no joy.

Looking at the chart below for W203 wheels it looks like you should be fitting ET35/37 front and ET30/34 rear.
That would calculate to a 10mm spacer front and 25mm rear which is too big IMO

If you had the correct size alloys your bolts would be M12 1.5mm pitch 17mm head and 39mm long. Putting a 25mm spacer on the rear would mean having bolts 25mm longer than that! Another thing to consider is the wheels you have bought may well have holes for M14 bolts, so the holes are possibly too big.

So, you could fit the fronts with 10mm hubcentric spacers but I don't think the rears will fit. I could be wrong, but that is my take on the chart supplied by alloy wheels direct below. Very important to buy wheels that are close to the correct offset.
What car are they from?
If genuine AMG they will have a part number on the inside spoke of the wheels.

W203_zpsk8dz1uro.jpg

Front wheel has part number 2044014502 and the rear is 2044014602 was told they from a 2013 c class

Yep, they are from a W204 that takes bigger bolts than your car. Its possible to get bolts with a bigger head but correct thread, but those rear wheels are just the wrong offset.

To be honest, I'd sell them and get the correct wheels for a 203 C Class.

Followed my initial thoughts and the above advice and sold them tonight, got my money back and the guy had a w204 too so win win.Cheers for the advice.:D

Looked at the guide but still a bit lost.

I have set of W210 OE 17" wheels with 235/45 tyres, ET37. Would these fit a W209 or W211?

I'm about the scrap my W210 (rust, surprise!) and I'm planning to replace it with one of those models. Tyres are nearly new RS3's and the rims are almost perfect, hopefully I won't have to flog them. Thanks

Just a mention of MB W126 alloy wheels.

I have a 500se which had the original Mexican Hat 14 inch alloys fitted. As anyone who has these rims will know, getting tyres is difficult because main stream manufacturers don't make fast road tyres, or sport road tyres for a wheel rim size 6.5x14x70.

Except for Michelin, the XYX, which costs around £300 a tyre.

So I decided to change the rims for a size that would allow a choice of more modern style of tyres, and I bought a set of original British made Penta's. They are 8x16's and there is a large selection of tyres in this size.

If anyone is interested the markings on these rims is as follows:

Penta - P1680 - et11 - 8x16.

These rims require the AMG centre cap, which is a 55mm bore fitting, part number HWA 201 400 0125. These are still available from MB, but cost around £35 each.

I fitted Continental 225x55x16 tyres, and they fit fine, although the front tyres sit slightly outside the wing. But there is no body contact, and the car feels very secure on the road.

Hi I currently have 245/40/18 front and 265/35/18 at the rear.

I want to downgrade to 17s for more comfort and avoid potential pothole blowout.

Can you guys recommend me some wheel types/models/offsets that would be fine for my car? :)

8Jx17 ET48 and tyres 225/50/17 these are genuine Mercedes e-220 that I'm currently using. I'm gonna upgrade to 18" but I could not find the original type you currently have but instead I'm gonna use from e-220 coupe that come as offset ET45 and ET48 on tyres 235/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear . Do u think would be any problem?? Thanks

Just a fitment query that perhaps someone could help with?

Would a set of 18” wheels off a W212 E Class fit the C63 without any caliper fouling issues or would I need spacers?

E Class Wheels:
Front 8.5x18 ET48 245/40/18
Rear 9x18 ET48 265/35/18

C63
Front 8x18 ET45 235/35/19
Rear 9x18 ET54 255/30/19[/

Advice please guys
My SL55 AMG has the following marks on my rear AMG SPLIT RIMS:

10J x 19
EH2 ET28
A230 400 0202
T-X-D-6.

Tyres: 295 x 30 x 19.

I'm looking to buy other alloys to replace these slightly corroded/welded wheel.

What spec should I ask for? IE: load bearing? offset? etc.

My fronts are : 9J x 19 with 255 x 35 x 19 tyres.

Many thanks in advance.

Z

I currently have these wheels on my 2014 C Class Coupe (C204)
16" 7Jx16 with 205/55R16 tyres

But I would like to fit these 17" jobbies...

Which are two different sizes - front 7.5Jx17 225/45R17, rear 8.5Jx17 245/40R17.

Can anyone tell me if
- they will fit the existing hubs without sticking proud of the bodywork
- any issues with tyres rubbing at full lock
- any issues with the tyre pressure warning

Thanks :)

Hi I was offered a set of Khan 22in that came of a Range Rover
Does anyone know if it is possible to fit them to a ML w166

s211 2003 avant estate

my car has airmatic all round. Does airmatic make any difference to space in the wheel well or not ?

I'm looking at fitting some SL wheels to my S211:

8.5J ET35 255/40/18
9.5J ET40 285/35/18

I've looked at the chart and see the fronts have been fitted as has the rear wheel and tyre size but the list doesn't show any ET higher than 35 for the rear.

I've found posts that relate to W211 AMG models of same year which all said these will be ok but again I don't know if AMG cars have the same space in the wheel well as my non AMG with airmatic.

I suspect the easiest way out is an adapter to bring these to ET 35 but I've no experience with adapters and if they are a sensible to use.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Moved my post to the main section where my question may get more views. Please reply in the other thread I've started so this is not a duplicated post.

I suggest avoid doing that . I did on my E-class and still struggling then I put back my original wheels and cost me a lot of time and money wasted . Because AMG LINE mercedes supported by lower suspension and your wheel alignment needs to be change as well. Also TPMS won't be match . All about my car
