Do these wheels/tyres fit?? Read this first! Offset/fitment answers within..

I'm bidding on them anyway!! Hope they fit! I like them!

Will the wheels that came off my w202 with et 37 fit a 1994 e220?

thanks....

Hi!
It depends what they are. Reply with full information, eg:
front/rear: 17x7.5ET37 with 225/45R17
are tyres even fitted to the wheels? are they the same front and rear? are they original Mercedes wheels?

Chris ,

I think (emphasis on think) that they are the standard 15 inch AMG's that the c230k's came with as standard ...

By the way , i've been watching your Ebay auction for your CRX , looks nice , lot of work gone into it , but it's not a VTEC :( , which is a shame as i am on the lookout for one !!

Sorry yes they are the standard AMG wheels that came with my w202 c230k, 7j width, 205/60/15 tyres fitted.

same wheels all round.

Hi!
Answer is yes, and tyres should be 205/60R15 as fitted at the moment.

I have 5 offers on the CRX now! I'll choose one on Sunday and buy something German next..

Would the same wheels fit a 2003 220 cdi saloon? I presume a c class or an e class but shall check, thankyou!

They might fit a Classic version but probably not an Avantgarde due to the larger brakes.

If the prospective bidders car has steel wheels then they will probably fit ok as the bolt pattern is the same.

If in doubt just state the size and let the buyer check their own wheels.

Hi! It doesn't matter what trim level the C220Cdi is, the wheels will fit unless code 949/950 is specified (sports kit). Interestingly, the tyres should be different: 195/65R15, although 205/60 would still be ok.
If it's an E220Cdi, the wheels won't fit because the bolts won't fit through, and the tyres are too small.

Hmmm, Just checked that chart and I am curious to why for example, CL500 car 20" ALLOYS the offset differs by such a large amount between Brabus and Carlsson, surely the offset should be pretty similar ? (Rears)

I have 20" kahns on my CL500 and it runs 255 width fine on the front, no catching, scraping or problems ? just curious again to why this size wouldn't be listed..

I can confirm however that, when running 285/30/20 rubber on the rears you do require the arches to be rolled.

Because of the difference in engineering thinking between Brabus and Kahn...
I don't list Kahn fitments. With tyre sizes, just because you can doesn't mean you should!

i have a c280 w202 i ve`found a mint condition 4 rims of Amg 18
18*8 ET31. from the chart i see that 225/40/18 will fit into my car all around right ?
do i have to buy anything else such as spacers or locking wheel nuts ?
thanks in advance .

18X8ET31 sounds like they are AMG II. USe 225/40R18 all round and the original M12x1.5x39R12 bolts. No spacers needed, locking bolts clearly optional.

I have 18" Monoblocks on the C43, the same as Graeme's E55. I am due to change the rear tyres. I have 255/35 on the rear's at the moment, could i put 265/35's on the rear ? which is what Graeme has on his E55.

265 is too wide for the W202, 255 is about as wide as you can fit without major modifications!
