Taking me all bluddy morning to read this. I have work to do.
Is this a car forum or a fashion forum? Nastiness is not a part of this place. Certainly don't want anyone leaving just because they are appreciating a particular kind of car.
Unfortunately it is maybe true about Sierras being inadequate in the modern environment with regards to safety. But then so are many other cars of a similar era. Life moves on. Respect previous times. It doesn't require an argument.
Even the title of this thread was gentle, to absorb any fashion-related comments.

Walking away from a forum because people dont agree with your ideas is a lack of compromise. Like Howard said, we all like and dislike different things. I don't see any real nastiness here, just different points of view.

The forum resignation is one of the funniest and rarely adhered to statements IMO.
The car's geat. It's not "Barry". The Barry talk is annoying and off topic, but people are like sheep and follow the direction of the thread. I persoanlly think the almost original mint concurs Cossie is less "Barry" than Killerhertz's C180. That could offend, but isn't meant too, just shows how people opinions can differ.
Ford RS cars have a massive following and are due some respect IMO. Thanks for the post Tilly. At least it's motoring related which is refreshing on topic non-MB material.

Is my car a Barry car because its a C180? my car looks indentical to yours. engine size doesnt make a car barry or not.
