But of course we are better, as evidenced by the stats for this thread (94 replies, 2338 views) compared to the counter-thread of "I don't want a non AMG" (30 replies, 970 views). Absolute proof that not wanting an AMG is far more attractive than wanting nothing else.

ABC is a must for an AMG if you want comfort for a daily driver and a sports car for the weekend. It comes with its problems but in my mind the system is fantastic and worth the extra maintenance.
