@ v2cjb - my deal is a 6+23 at £445.96 ex VAT. This is for an estate (wagon) and I've been told June for delivery too.

I've kept it standard with regards to spec (as an ex-BMW man, I'm amazed at how comprehensive the standard spec is!!).

I've gone for palladium silver with the two-tone classic red/black interior. Looking forward to playing with all the toys (Comand, speed assist, powered tailgate etc) and, of course, that engine

Actually, yesterday I sent a pre-emptive enquiry off to a few other lease companies - thankfully both of which were more expensive that what I'm paying - and both have come back today with estimated delivery dates of late June. That obviously seems to be what MB are bandying about. But yes, fingers crossed for an early delivery

Knowing mine is at the dealer and booked out for delivery to me on 2nd April is a weird kind of self torture, I can easily make a call and have it in a few days....

It was already registered by end of February ready for delivery March 1st. It's just that it's arrived a tad early for me, my existing car has not gone back yet....

Hence the wait, still having fun in my MX-5, roof down on Sunday all the way to Hunstanton.

Mine here on the 23rd but I will be away. As I have posted before it was not due until the beginning of May so has thrown me a little. Should collect on 2/4 when I get back but hopefully I will be back a little sooner if all goes well.

Well!!!!

Delivered today and have to say very very pleased.

First impressions on the car and I have to directly compare it to my original 08 C63 is that 4 years from then to now have made this car simply stunning.

1. The interior trim and features are much improved
2. Comand is now a real joy to use and a lot easier to navigate with 7 digit postcode entry, bluetooth streaming, iPod leads and connectivity and the screen just looks great in the binnacle compared to the slide open one.
3. Gearbox is completley revolutionised with much faster changes and response times compared to 08, far smoother too and the added settings just make this improvement the best one of all.
4. Whilst I've not really driven it too far but immediately I can see a much better return on mpg, during a normal drive of 20 miles to lockup and back I would have achieved 15-17mpg in the 08 car, in this one easy 22. In fact the delivery driver had it on average of 23 over 220 miles. (obviously these are instrument cluster figures and not tank to tank)

Happy to be back in a Merc. Here are some pics....
