Sorry, I've not checked this lately. I don't seem to be getting an email when a thread I'm subscribed to gets updated!

Had the car 10-11 days now and driven around 270 miles, average mpg on the cars trip is around 20.

When I get a new car I always get a great buzz from just having it on the drive, the fact that its a C63 is largely immaterial it would feel the same with probably most cars, even my daughters old y plate ford KA after I had cleaned it up gave a happy smile, now replaced with a 207cc for her.

The car just looks great and is a joy to drive, the grin factor is quite overwhelming so all in all I am a very happy chap.

The car just burbles along, is a pleasure to sit in and for not having added any extra options has plenty of features and gadgetry to keep me happy, the comand system sounds great, it came with an iPhone connector and usb connectors too. I have tended to drive along without any music on as I like the engine noise and prod the throttle a few more times than I should.

I have had a go at the race start but haven't got one planted yet as its a bit of a chore to get it set up.

More things I have noted is that the steering seems heavier at slow speed, gear changes are still superb and quick, I get a bit of a jump/jerky change when its cold in C but that might wear off in time. I keep flicking the cruise control instead of the indicator stalk too...

Overall the car just looks great and gives me the required happy face every time I get a go in it.
