The car was a bit of a nail anyway.
You could tell that from the badge on the grille.

He did say, the figure was £450, obviously to enable him to win the challenge..
I KNOW it is pure entertainment, I KNOW that everything is well scripted and rehearsed, but how many times have I moaned about the way they both use James May as an end stop, or deliberately 'dinked' his car? I KNOW they do it for a laugh, but it does frustrate me, especially this time because May had the only decent car. I guess that was also in the script, plus no doubt, so was the part you mentioned.I don't know. I quite enjoyed this one, every time Hamseter drove into James May I winced. Thought it was fantatic when he unhooked and left him!

Too tasteful for them, they have the conti GT for them.
That annoys the hell out of me too!

Lying on the side was phoney, deliberate push over the side.
KingAlfa75 got tickets for the show.
Must be an age thing - I was amazed when May turned up in a GTV for a grand, and the first slam of the door into Mays door had me really annoyed as there was no need for it. I could see then dink in htat door for the rest of the episode.
A nice GTV and a Spider were sacrificed in the name of entertainment, The Spider may not have beeen the tidiest option but it was certainly a very reasonable car for the money.
They could have had a really good factual enjoyable show without the intentional damage .................
Where's Kinky when we need him?He gets rear ended several times unneccessarily in this episode ...
Where's Kinky when we need him?
