You are right of course...but you'd get a bloody good E class for £15k.

people can put whatever they like in the thread title as long as it has something to do with the context of the post... if it read C63 in the title and it was 201 or 202 talk then id be on the OPs side but if it says C63 and it has to do with the posters C63 then whats the problem... this whole thread started by the op is a non topic hes just jealous of these c63 owners imho

SB..you have, not for the first time...missed the point entirely. You do know the difference between envy and jealousy? I am envious of the C63 owners and others. But jealous? Absolutely not. And although the OP is quite able to speak for himself, I detected no jealousy in his nor anyone else's tongue in cheek posts.

A track day would get rid of some of that pent up aggression you often display.

Not my place...but could we end this thread now before more people say things we will ALL regret.

Yes, I agree with your POV...I actually think a lot of it us because the name C63 is short and easy to write and refer to. It's only one model, didn't have any predecessors and therefore is just easy to refer to both in writing about it and knowing what model is being written about. C class could be anything in the last 15 years, w204 not everyone understands...whenever I wrote it was either because it was model specific or just easier to refer to.

I'll pipe down now....but I do hope it doesn't put off the enthusiastic C63 crowd that the forum attracts!

Not a chance my friend, I was rather p* ssed off reading this last night and for the guys on here saying it was a bit of tongue and cheek....leave it out it started off with a rather sarcastic post, no tongue and cheek in that and as we can all see now this has got a lot of peoples backs up.

As I stated earlier this is a forum that has catered for all MB cars and has been very helpful to me with my purchase and excelllent advice been given in which Palmball being one of the most helpful and knowledgable guys on this whole forum. As for not reading this thread in the first place, the same applies to people that read the threads that are headed with C63, you don't have to read these either.

This has got out of hand and I think its served its purpose by winding up and annoying genuine car enthusiasts. I wont stop writing threads and posting up questions and replying to advice I have been given which if specific to my car and if that applies to adding the vehicle specific then so be it, C63 will be added. This is a great forum and has a lot of very helpful and genuine people on it....lets keep it this way!

No raised voice at all my friend....but if it wasn't out to wind people up then why was this sent to me in one of my threads, I knew nothing of it up until then.....lets be honest it was to wind up and it has done a cracking job of doing so....All I am saying is that this is a great forum and is one of the most helpful I have come across, we are all lucky to own such wonderful cars and looking at most of your pride and joys of all on this thread we are all lucky. Crikey it was only 8 years ago I drove a banged up £400 nova. So come on lets all put away the toys and just enjoy some of the great advice and stories that this forum portrays!
