Very rare E55K

The perfect e55. Those colours for me couldn't be any better

Love it. It won't appeal to everyone with the interior and its a high price to pay for the paint job. Doubt it will be on the market long though, Good E55's are selling like hot cakes.

Love that colour combo and low miles make it a desirable motor. Doubt it will be around for long, wonder what colours where available for the E55K. Silver is everywhere, black comes up every now and then and any other colours are just really rare.

fantastic colour combination .. super rare too

It is really nice but for that money I couldn't justify a w211 over a w219 cls55 personally

The value in that car is in three things:

1. Paintwork colour
2. Interior colour
3. Mileage.

If that car was a CLS 55, it would easily be circa £20k in my opinion.

Even as much as I love the CLS (both 218 & 219) they're a sea of black or silver, and the blue on that E55K, having seen the colour in the flesh before, stops you in your tracks stunning.

If I was in the market for one, I'd be scuttling down the A1 right now to buy this one.

As they say in the trade "find me another!!!"

But why are they all silver? Surely not everyone in 2003/5 liked it above anything else?
Mine is silver and its fine but I'd always buy a colour over silver/black/grey every time.
There are a few black ones and even fewer blue. A light interior is almost unheard of.
Was a colour a huge cost option?

Designo paint options are expensive, they also aren't openly offered or pushed at all through most UK dealers. It delays build time and dealers would generally prefer you to order off the set menu rather than a la carte.

Mystic blue paint on our SL was a £5,750 option and it delayed delivery by 3 months.. I also had to get the dealer to email Germany to find out if we could even order it.

Therefore most MB's that sell in the UK are varying shades of monochrome sadly.

this is also very rare :)

Mirror mirror on the wall, Sean's blue is the fairest of them all...

It's a stunning car.
But one that needs to be used sparingly and looked after very well. Definitely not a daily!

I was offered this last week, the vendor didn't have any history for it so I declined. That's not to say it hasn't surfaced, just ask the question before you head over.

I tried to buy this car back in 06, it was advertised in the Autotrader, it was a private sale, 22K miles, wanted £44K, even then it was a stand out car, think I still have the details in my 'car things' draw, unfortunately I needed to PX my existing MB, and regrettably I could not make the deal, and I went on to buy my current E55.
As others have already said, what a wonderful looking rare specified example of an E55K, not sure there will be another as such as this one out there.;)

Given Akash comments, Would be really disappointing if it turns out the car has been neglected service wise, moreso as to the initial cost of that car.

Interestingly the advert on eBay says full service history, it must have turned up.
