Yesterday I took advantage of the boot crate for one final muddy stomp up a hill in Wiltshire. God I love that car - just so many touches to make family life easier. Today it gets a much-needed clean.

Your post even inspired me to drag myself out the house, put the car in muddy bike transport mode, ride some hills and use my boot crate!

Good skills!

And extra points for the bootliner. I left mine at home......

And even more points for the seat cover and the floor mats.

I realised on the trip that I needed something to keep my MB mats clean - was wondering what to do - and there's the answer.

Out of interest where did you get them?

They are genuine MB rubber mats - got them off Ebay along with the boot liner, from a guy who had them for his 2015 Shooting Brake. I used them first in my CLS SB, then the S211 and now the S213. They also fit in the E500, so a really useful purchase - I think I paid £50 for the liner and the full set of mats.

The seat cover was a fiver from Aldi!

Took it out for a run and get first full English of the new year :) called at the carding shed near Holmfirth, first time I’ve been but a nice place to spend a few hours, and the food is excellent :thumb: can’t believe we had the roof down and no photos :( but got carried away with the sound track :D:D

Thanks. I'll have a look for a set for mine. Like I say it's a bit of a crime to subject my OEM mats to all the mud of my Wiltshire break.

Didn’t realise the double photo  should’ve put the main event up :D

I'm sorry, but that's too posh for a full English. The beans have to be on the main plate, so that the sauce mixes with everything else. The egg shouldn't be delicately placed on top - and where's the black pudding? Cups and saucers, milk jugs, sugar lumps in a bowl?

That was the middle sized breakfast, I’ll take it any way it comes if I don’t have to cook it :) and I swapped black pudding :(for another sausage :thumb:

I wouldn't imagine we would have to tell Paul (Wheelnut58) how a full English is supposed to come, I guess he's had plenty of them in greasy roadside truck stops.

And I bet he has a full Yorkie afterwards

Prefer a doughnut for afters these days :D:D

Went for a drive around the Cotswolds and called into Caffeine & Machine for a late lunch or early dinner. Lots of cars there but not much that really got my attention.
