Put my Ctek MX-5 battery conditioner to work today for the first time since I bought it.
Haven't used the E63 for a few days and yesterday was -3c and the Eco ligt took ages to even appear for me to turn off. Usually a sign voltage is low.
Started by checking the aux and main battery with a multi meter and the aux was reading 13v engine off and the main battery 12.3v.
I spent about 20 minutes attaching the comfort lead to the + and - terminals of the main battery for future charging, then starting it on an AGM setting recharge.
Checked 5 hrs later and the whole set of lights were displayed indicating a fully charged main battery. I took a note of the battery Part# as this being a Sept 2014 model, its probably on its original battery so could be due a new one at some point soon.
There probably is a reason why Varta Bosch and Exide to name 3 brands only give a 3 years warranty on any new AGM battery![Frown :( :(](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f641.png)
