Bought set of mud flaps for glc and put Mercedes logo on them , just need them fitted now.

Bought the missing functionality in Mercedes Me for 3 years as they are at a significant discount at the moment. 3 years service for less than £90

How’s this work ? Or how did you go about it.

I do that every year with Dinitrol, good job buddy

Dinitrol I m o is best there is cleaner to work with too , I got on to it when I found out they used it on road gritters after the salting season was over , so has to do some good
unlike some of those black messy sprays.

Booked one in for a service between Christmas and New Year. Weirdly I booked it for exactly the same day (29 Dec) on exactly the same day (26 Oct) as last year!

I always make sure that my cars never go over 12 months since the last service, but I have never booked on the very same day before! Weird coincidence.

As it was tipping it down this morning I decided to go and pick up some trellis. I gave the car a proper (jet) wash on the way back.

Just finished changing the timing chain tensioner, what a faf for such a simple task, but what a difference it’s made. ( thanks Mercedes Edinburgh...ordered yesterday, in the car today).
I’m sure my knuckles will recover in time, anyway, tomorrow first thing it’s going over the pit to drop the tray and recover various tools and the odd stud!
For now I’m celebrating with a glass of red and a smug grin.

Easy apart from needing 2 rear wheels removed. By the way the dirt on front was there before I fitted the flaps. Lol

Oil and filter change on the CLK using the Pela pump , followed by changing the ATF (3L) from the sump using the Pela as well .
The atf was still nicely red , I had changed the filter 8k ago but I try and change the sump atf every oil change because it’s so cheap to do .

Finally got round to changing front discs, pads and calipers on my W211 E55, just the front airmatic struts to fit now.

Winter wheels fitted to the CLK along with a pressure brake fluid change as I swapped the wheels over .
Sprayed some ACF50 on any exposed brake pipe in each wheel well

Then wafted around the lanes in north Essex for an hour , love this car

Finally finished swapping intercooler hoses… turn the car on… one of the xenon’s is now pink! It never ends….

£92 For a new pair online, will be able to swap them tomorrow. Wheels and wheel arch liners off… fun times…

D1s, I bought osram nightbreaker laser, £92 a pair next day on Amazon. They seem to be the best you can get and I need to fit them tomorrow
