That is very true of course, however the bonnet star is not associated with the sport style grille

I spent a long time trying to figure out why my front washers weren't working. Poked around in the fuse box then researched online for a while until I went back to the car and realised that I wasn't pressing the button hard enough.

I swapped out the standing star to a black flat badge on the bonnet. Matches the new grille better, I think

E250 on stands, all wheels off, brake fluid change, check & clean brakes, wax brake pipes, clean wheels etc.
MOT time on Tuesday.

Took one of the E250 for its MOT, passed OK, no advisories.

Whie getting the other E250 ready for its MOT I remembered how much I was peeved off last year with the missing Mercedes name on the front caliper cover (worn off).

Had some "Mercedes-Benz" transfers so added these, they are probably just a little too large but better than nothing in my opinion.





I'll have to do the dics in a few thousand miles (years?) so will change them then and probably paint the calipers too.

Took the other 212 for it's MOT, passed no advisories, 9 MOTs with no advisories averaging 2,500 miles PA.

Oil change and brake fluid flush on the other W212, too bloody cold to do the fuel filter, later.
