Good luck?Washed the E class for MOT day tomorrow .
He doesn't need luck, knowing how he looks after his cars that will fly throughGood luck?
There are tabs/prongs on the back of the holder which insert into holes in the bumper on mine , undo the screw and pull the holder forward (just make sure none of the holes have screws hidden in them )Took front plate off and the holder underneath is held on with just 1 screw, is it meant to be like this?

It always seems to be the little extra thing which causes me a problem too. Sure it will be running sweetly with the new injectors though.Changed the fuel injectors on the E55, took my time and hoovers around surge tanks before and after. Interesting to look down at the valves which looked in really good shape. Things were going really well until I attempted to replace the map sensor as a whilst I was in there sort of thing, dropped the the quarter inch swivel whist trying to remove one of the bolts, jacked the old girl up to remove under trays, noticed a big oil leak coming from dipstick grommet that I had repositioned to give better access to nightmare map bolt. Anyway I cut my losses and gave up on the map part of the job, bolted dipstick bracket back sharpish which seams to have sorted leak (monitoring that little gem). Buttoned everything back up, new gaskets etc etc and fired her up, all good, but a bit of a mission in the end.
Yeah she ran spot on. I thought the map sensor wouldn’t be any more difficult than the cps, how wrong can you be, fingers crossed it never goes wrong, it’ll be farming that job out if it does, the pros must have fabricated some tool to make life easier, and I wouldn’t want to disturb that dipstick grommet again, once bitten and all that.It always seems to be the little extra thing which causes me a problem too. Sure it will be running sweetly with the new injectors though.
