Not much at all today, took one for a topless dash to McDonalds to pick up breakfast, and that’s about it.

After booking it in for a B Service in a couple of weeks, I decided that I'd better put the battery on charge as it's not moved since I came back from the Simply Mercedes event at Beaulieu nearly 3 weeks ago. The service is going to cost over £600 so an expensive one and I don't want to miss it by having a flat battery.

I also got the reminder for the tax which is due at the end of the month. This was the reason that the service was booked a week or so before it's due (4th October), so I can run it down to Mercedes, get it serviced (and MOT'd) and then put it on SORN for the few months over winter as it never moves anyway.

By doing it this way I can delay the inevitable payment of £570 until next March or so all being well.

Don’t panic, as far as I’m aware Bobby D waxes his chest so no spiders legs on show.

Took the car for a 4 wheels to be balanced and front tracking checked. No adjustment required on tracking.

Probably just a bit of escaped avocado from his avocado on toast.
The medallion will be solid gold undoubtedly: apart from the central insert.

This post ^^^ was a bit of a wake up call so I tempted Mrs D out of the house with the promise of Starbucks iced coffee and Cinnabon cinnamon buns., and I went home the verrrry long way.

Thermometer on the car was 33.5•C even after a few hours of driving. Very strange as there are brown leaves on the ground, some on the trees, but with blue skies, bright sunshine and blistering heat.
