What Have You Done To Your Merc Today?

No problem.
Saves money on paying someone to do the oil/filter changes.
Amazon sell the oil extraction pumps for around £25.
Yes, I’m starting to do more myself now. Slow going but I’m learning.
Convenience as much as anything really, plus I’ve always worked in and enjoyed the mechanical world.
Seems a reasonable price for the pump

If your Vito has a dipstick, you can DIY oil/filter changes yourself easily with an oil extraction pump.
There are dozens to choose from, even electric ones.

Edit. They have increased a little in price since I bought mine. I bought this one

I’ve had an electric one for years, about £15 on eBay. Pumps straight into an empty oil container for easy disposal.

Electric oil pumps are back on sale in Lidl. £14.99 iirc.

Dumb question, but how would I power it as the 204 battery is in the boot and of course, the dipstick (assuming the 204 has one?) is in the front
Pretty sure you'll have jump lead pegs under the bonnet.

Took it for a mot, failed, needs lower front suspension arm ball joints, excessively worn. The mileage is 50k.

One had its bigger “annual” detail to zhuzh it up a bit. Enhancement polish and a fresh Gyeon ceramic coat has it looking fantastic again.

We were using it to do 600 miles in 36 hours this weekend - but it’s forecast rain - and it looks too good to make it dirty straight away!

Did a little roof down motoring today too - the weather was properly miserable first thing but it was blooming lovely from lunch time.

Booked two others in for services. Paid for some parts the dealer fitted to another car last month but still waiting on the most important part!

Checked and topped up the tyre pressures on some. Took one to the petrol station to brim it with the good stuff - up early to start in that 600 miles!
